Remembering The Brave

This slide show consists of photos taken at a formal dinner at the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Quantico, VA.  It is a beautiful presentation of the honor, commitment and pride today’s heroes share with yesterday’s.

If you know a Marine or a soldier of any branch of the Military (of any age) make sure he or she sees this.  Wouldn’t hurt if all other Americans saw it too!

Rose Removal Notice, Bear DE Veterans Cemetery

VVA Chapter 83 wishes to thank all of the many volunteers that made the placement of the roses at the Bear, DE Veterans Cemetery such a success.   Due to inclement weather the roses were removed earlier than planned and we will NOT need volunteers on April 9.

Reminder – Roses Project in April

Reminder-see you Saturday, April 9 @ 9:00 a.m. for removal/storage of roses.   Also, periodically need volunteers to survey to see if any roses have blown away, etc. and need replacement.   If so, do not hesitate to contact Judy Campbell for extra roses.   Thank you.
